Choose the right support for every flag with our Flag Bases range. Designed for indoor and outdoor use, our durable bases provide stability on grass, sand and hard surfaces for reliable display performance in any environment.
Which flag base is best for grass, sand or hard surfaces?
For grass or sand, use any base except the Car Foot or Cross-Base. For direct ground installation, choose a Ground Drill or Ground Pin. On hard surfaces, we recommend a Steel Plate, Water Tank or Cross-Base. See our Beach Flag Base Guide for the best option.
Are flag bases compatible with all flag sizes?
No. Larger Beach Flags require heavier bases to provide sufficient stability and help prevent tipping, especially outdoors. To choose the correct base for your flag size and application, please refer to our Beach Flag Base Guide.
How stable are flag bases in windy conditions?
Our flag bases provide excellent stability when matched to the correct flag size and surface. However, we recommend bringing all Beach Flags indoors from Beaufort 6 (approximately 39 km/h) onwards, regardless of the base used. See our Beach Flag Base Guide for recommendations.
Can I order a flag base separately?
All Beach Flag bases are available separately, allowing you to choose the most suitable base for your application. We also sell Beach Flag poles and graphics separately, giving you the flexibility to create the ideal combination for your specific needs.
